No, I’m not asking about your mental health check-in, though that’s certainly worthwhile. I’m talking about your actual brain — that remarkable three-pound universe between your ears that’s currently decoding these squiggly symbols into coherent thoughts.
Much like confusing Marmite with Vegemite (a cardinal sin in any proper British household), we’ve developed a habit of using “brain health” and “mental health” interchangeably. This well-intentioned muddle has led us down a rather limiting path.
